Fort Loramie 4 Lincolnview 3

DAYTON — Three runs in the third and another in the fifth proved to be enough as No. 13 Fort Loramie defeated No. 5 Lincolnview at Day Air Ballpark on Saturday.

The loss snapped Lincolnview’s 11-game winning streak.

The Lancers took a 2-0 lead in the first inning when Carson Fox singled in Landon Price and when Cole Binkley scored on a sacrifice by Caden Hanf.

Fort Loramie answered with three runs in the third to take a 3-2 lead, then added a run on a bases loaded walk in the fifth. Price hit an RBI single that plated Austin Bockrath in the bottom of the fifth for the final margin.

Lincolnview will play at Delphos Jefferson today.

Softball

Lincolnview 15 Bluffton 6

BLUFFTON — Lincolnview pounded out 19 hits, including four by Makayla Jackman and the Lady Lancers defeated Bluffton 15-6 on Saturday.

Kendall Bollenbacher and Taylor Post each had three hits in the win while Braxton Sherrick had two, including a home run. Ashlyn Price had a pair of hits and scored three runs.

Lincolnview trailed 3-1 after two innings but exploded for six runs in the third, five more in the fifth and three in the seventh. Post and Sydney Fackler combined to strike out 11 Bluffton batters.

The Lady Lancers will play at Delphos Jefferson today.
