Sectional baseball pairings are announced

Boys sectional baseball pairings were set around northwest Ohio on Sunday.

In Division II, No. 4 seed Van Wert has a sectional semifinal bye and will travel to play Bryan in the finals at 5 p.m. Friday, May 20, with the winner advancing to the Archbold district semifinals.

In Division IV, Lincolnview is the No. 1 seed at the Coldwater sectional/district and opted for a bye, meaning the Lancers will host Ada or Spencerville in the sectional championship game at 5 p.m. Thursday, May 19.

Crestview is the No. 5 seed and will host Waynesfield-Goshen at 5 p.m. Tuesday, May 17. The winner will advance to play No. 3 seed Lima Central Catholic at 5 p.m. Thursday, May 19.
