Duck egg race…

Hundreds of numbered ping-pong balls, or “duck eggs” were dropped into Town Creek during Saturday night’s Main Street Van Wert Block Party. The ping-pong balls/duck eggs floated to the finish line for a top prize of $1,000. The grand prize winner was Vicki Williams. The MSVW Block Party also featured live music by Samuel Harness, food trucks, a cornhole tournament, vendors, the Freedom Cruise-In and the Van Wert 4-Mile. Scott Truxell/Van Wert independent
