The Van Wert County Sheriff’s Office is currently experiencing some technical issues with calls that route to the Sheriff Office PSAP, or calls from outside the Van Wert city limits. You may experience a long delay (90 seconds) in your call reaching a PSAP. Calls within the Van Wert city limits are routing appropriately.

Technicians are working on the issue, and anyone with an emergency outside the Van Wert city limits should call 419-238-3866 to avoid the delay.
