Patrica Ann Arrien, the daughter of Donald Warren Saint and Elladay Samueline Tindall (Benson), passed away at her home in New Haven, Connecticut.

She was born October 20, 1950 in Dallas, Texas.

Patrica Arrien

Patricia was raised in Van Wert with her mother and step-father Joseph Morgan Jr. She graduated from Van Wert High School in 1968, residing in California for many years before returning to Van Wert. From 2011 she was a resident of Shirley, New York and New Haven, Connecticut.

Family was important to her, and she dedicated long hours researching genealogy and putting together her family tree. Her grandmother Benson instilled in Pat a love of nature, and she liked nothing better than connecting to the earth and getting her hands dirty in her garden, sharing the bounty of vegetables and vibrant flowers with friends and family.

Pat was a lover of many things. She enjoyed music and you could often hear old rock and roll songs coming from her house when you came to visit. A determined soul, Pat learned Morse Code and played the violin. She found a challenge and interest in home remodeling and decorating the many homes that she lived in.

Her love of all creatures went beyond the many dogs and cats she provided an adoring home to, and she worked for many years administrating pet adoption services in the San Francisco and Bay area.

She is survived by her sister Laura (Mike) Bell, brothers Mike (Sue) Saint, and Brian (Holly) Morgan, sister-in-law Lisa Schmansky, nieces and nephews Michael (Chelsi) Saint, Keith Schmansky, and Laura Schmansky, and Michael (Laura) Kennedy, Mary-Ameila Grant, and many extended family members.

She was preceded in death by her mother, her father, her husband John Arrien, and her loving companion Bill Kennedy.

A beautiful person, Pat’s free spirit and zest for life will forever be missed by all who were lucky enough to have her in their world.
