Smoke scare…

The Van Wert Fire Department was called to the Holiday Inn Express shortly before 12:30 a.m. Thursday, after receiving reports of smoke in a room on the second floor. Reports from the Van Wert Police Department confirmed the smoke and that it smelled like smoke from electrical causes. Police and fire personnel were on the scene for a bit over an hour.
