OSHP releases results of DD crackdown

As a result of this past weekend’s initiative to curb distracted driving, troopers from the Findlay District of the Ohio State Highway Patrol issued 27 citations for distracted driving. 24 were issued in regard to the new distracted driving law (illegally using an electronic device) that became enforceable on Thursday, October 5, and three other citations were issued where a distraction was found to be a contributing factor to the commission of the traffic violation.
The OSHP’s Findlay District covers Van Wert, Paulding, Putnam, Allen, Williams, Fulton, Lucas, Defiance, Henry, Wood, Hancock, and Hardin counties.
