Matthew Duane Beech

Matthew Duane Beech, 60, passed away Saturday morning, October 21, 2023, at his residence in Scott.

He was born on October 9, 1963, in Van Wert the son of Harold and Betty (Myers) Beech, who both preceded him in death. He married the former Sara Rose Hester on July 4, 2006, and she preceded him in death on October 27, 2022.

Family survivors include his four children, Sharon (Jason) Trentman of Scott, Gwinsalena (Matthew) Armentrout of Waynesfield, Lisa Perry of Van Wert, and Michael Landwehr of Kings, North Carolina; three brothers, Mark (Tracy) Beech, Mitch Beech and Merritt Beech all of Scott; and 13 grandchildren.

Matthew had worked for 27 years at Tecumseh Box Company in Van Wert and the last two years at Cooper Foods. He enjoyed spending time with his grandkids, hunting, and watching auto racing.

There will be calling hours 1-5 p.m., Thursday, October 26, at Cowan & Son Funeral Home, Van Wert.
