Crestview to play for D-IV district title

No. 1 seed Crestview advanced to the Division IV district finals with a 25-14, 25-17, 25-13 sweep of fourth-seeded Kalida in the semifinals Tuesday at Van Wert High School.

Cali Gregory and Adelyn Figley registered double digit kills, with 22 and 15. Gregory also had 22 assists and was 9-of-9 from the service line with an ace. Emily Lichtle had 12 assists and Gregory, Ellie Kline and Kaci Gregory each finished with eight digs.

The Lady Knights (22-2) will face No. 2 seed Leipsic in the district finals at 6 p.m. Thursday at Van Wert High School. The Vikings moved on with a 25-23, 25-23, 20-25, 25-19 victory over Miller City. Crestview sweep Leipsic during the regular season.
