Officers, deputies to get body cameras

The Van Wert Police Department and Van Wert County Sheriff’s Office are poised to purchase body cameras for the first time.

Both departments were awarded state grant money to outfit officers and deputies with body cameras. A full story will appear on the VW independent News page next week.
