Law enforcement training

The Van Wert County Sheriff’s Office recently conducted scenario-based training for deputies and members of the Van Wert City Police Department. The training was held at the Ohio City Community Building and it involved de-escalation, compliant and non-compliant individuals, and techniques and tactics to safely resolve high risk situations that deputies and police officers encounter.
