Gearhart runner-up…

Lauren Gearhart (pictured above) was Van Wert’s top finisher at the Cougar Classic, which was held Saturday at the Van Wert County Foundation Tennis Complex. Gearhart placed second at first singles, while teammate Ella Kimmel finished fourth at third singles. Elida was crowned as the team champion (50 points), followed by Lehman Catholic (25), St. Marys and Wauseon (19 each), Van Wert (13) and Ayersville (9). Photo submitted
