The 2025-2026 boys high school basketball season began Friday night for many teams, including Crestview and Van Wert. The two teams met at Ray Etzler Gymnasium and in a back-and-forth affair, the Cougars emerged with a 57-52 victory. Lincolnview’s season began as well and the Lancers rolled by Wayne Trace 76-63.
