Wind gusts exceed 50 miles per hour

Gusty winds brought town limbs, several trees and power lines around Van Wert County on Monday.

According to Van Wert County EMA Director Rick McCoy, the highest wind gusts recorded in the county were 55 miles per hour at the Van Wert County Fairgrounds, 54 miles per hour at the Hoaglin Township Hall, 51 miles per hour in Convoy and 50 miles per hour in Middlebury.
