Lady Lancers fall to Columbus Grove

Columbus Grove opened a 3-0 first inning lead and never looked back on the way to Thursday’s 14-2 Northwest Conference softball win over host Lincolnview.

The Bulldogs also scored three more in the third and fourth innings, one in the sixth and four in the seventh.

Destiny Coil put the Lady Lancers on the board with a second inning solo home run to right field, and Lincolnview’s remaining run came in the fourth when Coil singled home Alena Looser.

Coil and Marissa Miller combined for four of Lincolnview’s six hits.

The Lady Lancers will host Parkway today.
