VW tennis team falls to St. Marys

Despite a good effort, Van Wert fell to 0-4 (0-3 WBL) on the tennis season with a 5-0 home loss to St. Marys on Friday.

At first singles Michael Etter lost to Marcel Lansing 6-7, 6-0, 3-6, while at second singles Kannen Wannemacher fell to Howie Spencer 7-6, 3-6, 2-6. Max Sealscott lost at third singles, falling to CJ Vanderhorst 4-6, 6-4, 6-7.

At first doubles Michael Hellman and Nathan Ruger lost to Andrew Vogel and David Keller 3-6, 6-3, 6-7, and at second doubles, Storm Pierce and Kaden Thomas fell to Mason King and Evan Tennant 7-5, 5-7, 0-6.
