Joyce Ann Lynch

Joyce Ann Lynch, 68, of Van Wert, died at 10:30 a.m. Monday, July 2, 2018, in her sleep at home.

She was born September 20,1950, in Van Wert, the daughter of Lester Christian Sealscott and Bonnie Marie (Baker) Sealscott, who both preceded her in death.

Surviving is her husband, Larry Eugene Lynch of Van Wert; a son, D. Lynn (Heather Rae) Whitaker of Van Wert; one brother, Dana Brent (Lori) Sealscott of Van Wert; six grandchildren, Sloan Logan (Kallie) Whitaker, Skyler Dean Whitaker, Storm Raelyn Whitaker, Sage Hailey Whitaker, Christian James (Brittney) York, and Andrew Tyler York; and one great-grandson, Briggs Theodore James York.

A son, James Christian York; and one brother, Gary Dean Sealscott, also preceded her in death.

Joyce was an accountant for Custom Audio Concepts in Van Wert and Lima, and for Orchard Tree Restaurants in Van Wert and Celina.  She was a member of Trinity Friends Church in Van Wert, where she was in the First Place Women’s Group. She loved her grandchildren, gardening, and going to church and serving the Lord.

Funeral services will be conducted at 4 p.m. Friday July 6, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory in Van Wert, with the Rev. Neil Hammons officiating.

Calling hours will be noon-4 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
