MP Lions prepare for annual fundraiser

MIDDLE POINT — The Middle Point Lions Club is preparing for its annual Benefit Auction and Ice Cream Social.  The event will be held Friday, July 29, at the Middle Point Community Building.

The auction will start at 6 p.m. and food will be served, starting at 5 that evening.

Items to be auctioned are new and used and have been donated by community and area merchants. Sandwiches, pie, ice cream and cold drinks will also be available.

Proceeds from the event will be used to support the club’s many community activities.
