Pauline Doris Stukey Jones

Pauline Doris Stukey Jones, 94, of Ohio City, died at 7:15 a.m. Friday, July 15, 2011, at Sarah Jane Living Center in Delphos.

She was born February 25, 1917, in Mercer County, the daughter of the late Charles Harold and Iva Myrtle (Rickard) Sutton. On November 25, 1934, she married Rexford Arlando Stukey, who preceded her in death on December 18, 1964. She then married Robert D. Jones on July 26, 1966, and he preceded her in death on March 14, 2008.

Survivors include two sons, Larry A. Stukey of Waipahu, Hawaii, and Terry M. (Linda D.) Stukey of Ohio City; a daughter, Marilyn (James) Wall of Dacula, Ga.; two stepdaughters, Linda (Dan) Shackley of Spartanburg, S.C., and Cheryl Bluhm of Wellford, S.C.; one brother, Daniel (Maxine) Sutton of Lima; three sisters, Janice Agler of Decatur, Ind., Hazel Felver of Van Wert and Joanna (William) Davis of Kokomo, Ind.; five grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; five stepgrandchildren; and seven stepgreat-grandchildren.

Three brothers, Aaron L. Sutton, Earl Sutton and Gerald Sutton; three sisters, Leota Sutton, Dorothy Dobbs and Opal Bursley; a grandson, Earl Lee Spitler II; and a stepgrandson, Benjamin Shackley, also preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 23, at Cowan & Son Funeral Home in Van Wert, with Pastor Randy Bevington officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in Ohio City.

Calling hours are from 2-6 p.m. Friday, July 22, at the funeral home.
