Flag football coming soon

The Van Wert Parks and Recreation Department NFL Flag Football Program registration deadline is this week. This program provides young players a fun and exciting opportunity to engage in non-contact continuous action while learning lessons in teamwork. This year, two age categories will be offered: 5-7 and 8-10 year olds, with September 1 as the age cut-off date. A registration form must be filled out in order to participate. Participants can register two different ways, at the Jubilee Park Office or on line. On line Registration is available at vanwert.org by following the link in youth programs. The registration form can also be downloaded and brought to the Jubilee Park office from the website. Deadline to register is Friday, August 5. Games will begin the week of September 5, with ages 5-7 playing on Tuesdays and 8-10 year olds on Thursday at Smiley Park.
