VWHS Drama Club doing Disney musical

The Disney and Broadway musical Beauty and the Beast will be coming to the stage of the Niswonger Performing Arts Center of Northwest Ohio this coming spring when the Van Wert High School Drama Club presents the popular musical the weekend of April 19-21, 2012.

Van Wert High School play director Michelle Stoller promises a breathtaking, enchanting show with quality acting, beautiful costumes, magical special effects, and all the timeless sentiment wrapped up in this tale for all ages.

The Broadway version is the same plot as the Disney movie version, with all the same main characters. It also contains all of the famous songs parents and children have grown to love  — “Be Our Guest,” “Something There,” “Gaston,” “Beauty and the Beast” — while adding several new songs that add a depth to the show that will appeal to adults as well as children.

Tickets will be on sale in early April.
