GOP Central Committee to select recorder

The Van Wert County Republican Central Executive Committee will meet in regular session at 7 p.m. Thursday, August 11, at The Hotel Marsh and will also vote to select someone to fill the vacancy created by the retirement of County Recorder Jan McIntosh.

The County Board of Commissioners have selected Kim Hughes as the interim recorder until the GOP Central Committee chooses a replacement to serve out McIntosh’s current four-year term, which will end in December 2012.
