ACS, VWCH taking ‘hats off’ to cancer

The American Cancer Society and Van Wert County Hospital are taking their “Hats Off” to cancer patients to show their support and help them through their cancer journey.

On Tuesday, August 16, any cancer patient/survivor is invited to come to the hospital’s Conference Room A between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. to pick out a free hat. There are a variety of men’s and women’s hats to choose from. All of the hats are brand new and have never been worn. There are summer hats, winter hats, derby hats, fedoras, and sun hats.

For more information, contact Marybeth Torsell toll-free at 888.227.6446, extension 5101.

All American Cancer Society programs and services are offered free of charge, and information is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
