United Way campaign kicks off

The 2011 United Way campaign got off to a great start during ceremonies held Friday in downtown Van Wert. Main Street Van Wert and downtown businesses offered several special events and activities as this year’s United Way Pacesetters. Campaign Chair Lorie Garwood spoke briefly during the opening ceremony, which was followed by a balloon launch (above).
