Nominations are needed for this week’s Van Wert independent/Northwest Ohio Welch Trophy Student Athlete of the Week.

Area fall sports coaches and athletic directors should send nominations to sports@thevwindependent.com by 12 p.m. on Tuesday.

One name will be chosen and the winner will featured on Friday’s sports page.
