Leila A. Miller

Leila A. Miller, 82, of Delphos, died at 11:10 p.m. Sunday, August 21, 2011, at her residence.

She was born November 10, 1928, in Delphos, the daughter of the late John and Irma (Laemmerman) Mueller. On May 20, 1950, she married Roger Miller, who survives in Delphos.

Other survivors include three sons, Dan (Jan) Miller and John (Lynn) Miller, both of Delphos, and Dave (Donna) Miller of Huntsville; a daughter, Ellen (Robert) Suever of Delphos; one brother, Jack Mueller of Centerville; two sisters, Mary Lou McGue of Traverse City, Mich., and Jane (John) Reed of Columbus; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

A sister, Barbara Henne, also preceded her in death.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, August 25, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Delphos, with Father Melvin Verhoff officiating. Burial will be at a later date.

Calling hours are from 2-8 p.m. Wednesday, August 24, at Harter and Schier Funeral Home in Delphos, where a parish wake will be held at 7 that evening.
