YWCA part of Thrivent charitable outreach

VW independent/submitted information

Thrivent Choice is a member-advised program that allows eligible members to recommend where Thrivent Financial distributes part of its charitable outreach funds each year. Thrivent Choice provides a platform for their members to have a financial impact on causes and nonprofits they care about.

More than 40,000 nonprofits are enrolled in this program and the YWCA of Van Wert County is pleased to now be eligible to receive Choice Dollars. The YWCA hopes those who are eligible Thrivent Financial members and have Choice Dollars® available to direct, will keep it in mind when making donations.

In addition, Thrivent Financial, in partnership with InFaith Community Foundation, helps its members make online personal donations to enrolled organizations. Thrivent Financial will cover all online processing fees so 100 percent of all donations goes directly to the chosen organization.

For more information, call 800.847.4836 and say “Thrivent Choice” at the prompt, visit https://www.thrivent.com/making-a-difference/living-generously/thrivent-choice/ or email mail@thrivent.com

The YWCA of Van Wert County thanks Thrivent Financial for this opportunity.

“When community members and businesses make donations like this to our organization, we are able to continue to provide services and programs to so many people in our area,” said YWCA President/CEO Kimberly Laudick.

The YWCA is partially funded by the Van Wert County Foundation and is a United Way agency.
