LCC downs Lady Knights in soccer match

CONVOY — The Crestview Lady Knights Varsity Girls Soccer team hosted the Lima Central Catholic Thunderbirds in a Northwest Conference match on Saturday, with LCC defeating the Lady Knights by a score of 6-1.

Scoring the lone goal for the Knights was Madison Etzler. Scoring for the T-Birds was Kelly Ahman, Sydney Santaguida, and Liz Taflinger, each with two goals.

Crestview had fiour shots on goal to LCC’s 17 shots on goal. Crestview goalkeeper Megan Foster had 12 saves on the day, while LCC’s goalie, Ashley Hunt, had two saves.

Crestview’s record is now 2-2 and 1-1 in the NWC.
