Senator to be at Heart Land Patriots event

Information submitted

Monday evening, September 12, the Van Wert County Heart Land Patriots will be hosting State Senator Cliff Hite of Findlay for a very important legislative update.

State Senator Cliff Hite

Senator Hite, a former Bryan High School and Findlay High School teacher and football coach, most recently served in the Ohio House of Representatives before being appointed to the seat in the First Ohio Senate District, which represents much of northwest Ohio.

The meeting’s agenda will include vital information on several issues on the Ohio ballot for the November 8 general election, including Issue 3, which is the Ohio Healthcare Freedom Amendment to the Ohio State Constitution. This amendment, if passed, will provide Ohio citizens with the continuing freedom to make their own healthcare choices, without the interference of governmental mandates.

Senator Hite is uniquely poised to serve the needs of northwest Ohioans, and brings a conservative, common sense approach to his vital role representing his district.

The meeting is open to the public, and will begin at 7 p.m. in the Trinity Friends Church Youth Room, 605 N. Franklin St. in Van Wert. The Youth Room is easily accessed from the parking lot in the back of the Church.

Further information on this and future meetings of The Heart Land Patriots may be obtained by calling Rev. Keith Stoller at 419.968.2869.
