From 9/11 to jazz vocals

This is a make-up for all the long columns I have written over the years. Thank you to all who attended the 9/11 concert with the Fort Wayne Philharmonic.  I have heard so many fine comments that it seems our mission was accomplished!  We wanted to inspire, encourage and raise a level of patriotism in those who attended. It was quite a night!

I am heading off to Michael Hingson’s presentation tonight and hope to see many of you there as we finish off our 9/11 memorial celebration weekend.

For the jazz vocal enthusiasts, we deliver to you one of the finest ever: The Manhattan Transfer.  It starts at 7:30 p.m. this Saturday and a few tickets may be available at the door.

A busy beginning to our season has begun and we thank all of you for your support.
