Bob Evans sets ‘Community Fun Day’

On Thursday, September 22, Bob Evans restaurant of Van Wert will be holding a “Community Fun Day” in support of the Van Wert County Family and Children First Early Childhood Committee.

The Early Childhood Committee supports families with resources to provide developmental opportunities for younger children, and to help identify and address developmental needs that may exist.

With every check presented with a YWCA flyer, Bob Evans will donate 15 percent of the dining checks back into the Early Childhood Committee. The flyers can also be used on takeout orders.

The event runs all day, starting at 6:30 a.m. and runs through 9 p.m. The Van Wert County Early Childhood Committee supports the area with activities during the “Week of the Young Child” in April, educational information at a booth at the Van Wert County Fair, and the “Santa’s Little Helper” night in December.

Come out and support the organization while enjoying good company, food and a great cause! Flyers are available at the OSU Extension office.
