Convoy Preschool is a state-licensed preschool housed in the basement of Convoy United Methodist Church at the corner of Main and Sycamore streets in Convoy, and was established in November 1986. Convoy Preschool strives to follow a primary goal of meeting the needs of all families with preschool children while providing a consistent secure atmosphere in which each child can grow and develop at his/her own pace.

The preschool offers three programs: 3 year olds, 4-year-olds and Pre-kindergarten. The objective of the preschool is to provide an educational and developmental program which will meet the needs of preschool children.  Introduction to basic concepts such asocial skills, self care skills, fine and gross motor skills, language, speech and cognitive skills.  A structured program along with hands on experiences will aid in the nurturing and growing process of each child and enhance their positive qualities while always striving to build their positive self-image.

The nursery program is designed to provide social interaction and encourage cooperative play for 3 and 4 year olds. The program is offered two days a week.  Children must be 3 years old by September 30 to enroll in this class.  The Pre-K program is designed to provide positive social interaction and behavioral preparation for kindergarten. Children that will be eligible to attend kindergarten by September should enroll in this class, which meets three times a week.
