Crestview girls’ soccer team victorious

CONVOY — The Crestview Lady Knights hosted the Delphos St. Johns Blue Jays on Tuesday evening, with the Lady Knights edging Delphos 3-2.  Score at half was 2-2.

Scoring for the Lady Knights in the first half was Madison Etzler, with two goals and assisted on one goal by Catelyn Mefferd.  Riley Guest scored the lone goal in the second half.

Scoring for the Lady Jays was Jessica Recker and Kait Wrasman, with a goal each.

Crestview outshot the Blue Jays 12 to 5 and Crestview Keeper, Megan Foster, had seven saves while St. John’s goalkeeper Madison Kreeger had 10 saves.

The Lady Knights’ record is now 3-2 and 1-1 in the Northwest Conference.
