Tire slashing incidents reported in city

The Van Wert Police Department is investigating a string of tire slashings that occurred sometime late Wednesday night or early Thursday morning.

Reports of tires being slashes were reported from residents on the northeast side of Van Wert, from North Franklin Street to Pease Drive, East Main Street, North Chestnut and North Cherry.
