Lancer CC teams at invitational

The Lancer CC teams competed at the Ottawa Glandorf invitational on Saturday.  The boys team placed 4^th out of 22 schools, just 5 points from 3^rd place Ayersville and 12 points from runner-up Pettisville.  The boys were led by a 13^thplace finish from Bayley Tow who lowered his season best time to 17:36.  Other top placers were Jeff Jacomet (24^th), Ben Bilimek (28^th), Austin Treesh (37^th) and Doug Hicks (43^rd).  Eleven of the seventeen boys ran a season best on Saturday, which allowed the boys to run their best team race of the year.

The girls team placed 9^th in the field and were led by a 12^th place finish by Kerri Grothaus.  Kerri finished the course in a time of 21:33.  She was followed by Karissa Burns (37^th), Sabrina Barnhart (67^th), Haley McAbee (71^st) and Taylor Miller (73^rd).  The next meet for the Lancers will be at home this Saturday at the Van Wert Invitational.
