Portia Lucille Ainsworth

Portia Lucille Ainsworth, 59, of Ohio City, died at 11:48 p.m. Thursday, January 13, at Vancrest Health Care Center in Van Wert.

She was born July 31, 1951, in Van Wert, the daughter of Velma Lorene (Hart) Agler and the late Basil Leroy Agler Sr. On July 8, 1972, she married Edwin Wayne Ainsworth, who survives in Ohio City.

Other survivors include a daughter, Alison (Brandon) Miller of Van Wert; one brother, Basil “Butch” (Glory) Basil Jr. of Ohio City; two grandchildren; and two nieces.

A son, Ryan Wayne Ainsworth, also preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday, January 17, at Cowan & Son Funeral Home in Van Wert, with Pastor Randy Bevington officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in Ohio City.

Calling hours are 1-5 p.m. Sunday, January 16, and an hour prior to services Monday at the funeral home.
