Ottoville ends Lady Knight soccer season

OTTOVILLE — The Crestview Lady Knights traveled to Ottoville on Tuesday evening to take on the Ottoville Big Green in sectional tournament action.

Ottoville was able to get on the board early in the first half to take a 3-0 lead into halftime. The Lady Knights kept working hard the second half and Madison Etzler was able to score at the 19:12 mark on an assist by Brooke Bowen.

The Lady Big Green tacked on one more goal, but the Knights responded with another goal by Catelyn Mefferd to make the final score 4-2 in favor of Ottoville.

Crestview recorded five shots on goal to Ottoville’s 17.  Crestview goalkeeper Megan Foster had five saves on the night and Ottoville keeper Lauren Kramer had one save.

The Lady Knights end their season with a 7-7-2 record.
