The Crestview High School Scholastic Bowl Team participated in the WLTW TV 44 Whiz Quiz Competition. The Crestview team advanced through the first, second, and semi final rounds, with the finals occurring on Thursday, October 13, 2011. Crestview finished the competition by earning first place, beating out 15 other area teams. This win gives the team an early qualification for Regional Competition in the spring and a chance to move to the State tournament. Scholastic Bowl members include Drew Miller, Cody Klinker, Shelby Ripley and Josh Ray as the starting four, with Sarah Klinger, Chloe Lautzenheiser, Kameron Grubaugh, Tanner Skelton, Joel Seip and Quintin Bouillon serving as alternates.
