Knights win district volleyball semifinal
OTTAWA — The Crestview Lady Knights showed much determination and great teamwork in Tuesday’s win as they took down McComb in three straight games in a district semifinal match played at Ottawa-Glandorf High School. Scores were 25-17, 25-14, 25-19.
Crestview is now 20-3 overall and advance to the district finals where the Knights will meet up with Leipsic at 7 p.m.
“These girls are just so determined, play with so much heart, smart players and create so much excitement on the court,” said Crestview Coach Tammy Gregory. “They strive to better each ball and fight for each and every point.
“It is great to see them gel so well together on and off the court and strive for the same goals as a team,” she added. “I couldn’t ask for a better all around talented group of girls!”
