Introducing ArtNight!
By Hope Wallace

Starting on Tuesday, November 1 from 6-8 p.m. we are opening up the Wassenberg Art Center every Tuesday evening to anyone who wants to come to the art center to draw, paint, sculpt or work with ceramics. You don’t have to be an artist to enjoy creating. (That’s why we’re here!) We will have instructors Matt Temple and/or myself on hand to answer your questions or to offer suggestion with technique, subject, color or other processes. We encourage you to bring your art supplies, a friend and your ideas and hang out with us! If you would like to work with ceramics, a free-will donation will be accepted and we will supply the materials. This is open to anyone 18 and over unless accompanied by an adult. You’re in good company here. Even better it’s free.
The T-Rex’s have started tromping in. If you haven’t had a chance to complete your T-Rex drawing for a chance to win a free any size/any kind pizza from Pizza Hut® and you are age 5-18 the deadline is coming up November 1. Let us see what you can do, winning drawings will also be featured in the Times Bulletin.
November 8 is the deadline for our Creative Catalysts Art Exhibit and Sale. If you are an artist; for the cost of an artist membership, you may enter your work for a month long display and sale here at the Wassenberg Art Center. It is a great opportunity for holiday shoppers to find a unique gift for those they love and/or the difficult to buy for! Please give us a call or e-mail us for an entry form. This is a non-juried exhibit but awards will be given. Our reception is November 12, 6-8 p.m. with awards presented at 7 p.m.
