Kathy Beining

Kathy Beining died at 6:57 p.m. Sunday, October 30, 2011, at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne, Ind.

She was born March 30, 1956, in Van Wert, the daughter of Robert and Dorothy (Beery) Sterrett, who both survive, and most recently was a resident of Convoy.

She is survived by her son, Brad (Angie) Beining of Van Wert; one grandson, Evan Beining of Van Wert; her sister Vicki (Rusty) Grimm of St. Marys; a brother, Tim Sterrett of Van Wert; one nephew, Kyle Sterrett of Van Wert; and three nieces, Ginny Grimm, Brandy Sterrett and Ashley Sterrett. She is also survived by her fiance, George Lowther, and her former husband, Ralph Beining.

Calling hours are from 3-8 p.m. Thursday, November 3, at Brickner Funeral Home in Van Wert, with funeral services to follow at 7 that evening.
