Louise Velma Schuman

Louise Velma Schuman, 77, of Avilla, Ind., died Wednesday, October 26, 2011.

She was born October 25, 1934, in Green Township, Ind., the daughter of the late Howard and Loretta (Pfeidner) Anderson. On March 21, 1954, she married Hal Marl Schuman, who survives in Avilla.

Other survivors include five children, Hal M. (Sandra) Schuman Jr. of Kendallville, Ind., John (Jaynellen) Schuman of Avilla, Jennie (Bob) Allen of Wawaka, Ind., Joy (Roger) Klinger of Convoy and Jackie (Radley) Stanley of Montpelier; 12 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

A grandchild also preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, November 4, at Brazzell Funeral Home-Avilla Chapel in Avilla, with Pastor Dave Beard officiating. Burial will be in Hooper-King Cemetery in Avilla.
