Virginia L. LeValley

Virginia L. “Ginny” LeValley, 85, of Van Wert, died at 7:50 p.m. Friday, November 11, 2011, at the Van Wert Area Inpatient Hospice Center in Van Wert.

She was born October 30, 1926, in Pleasant Township, Van Wert County, the daughter of the late Walter E. and Emma (Kiehl) Schaadt. On January 18, 1947, she married Walter W. “Buck” LeValley, who survives in Van Wert.

Other survivors include a son, James R. (Jean) LeValley of Fort Myers, Fla.; one daughter, Pamela (Stephen) Hargett of Franklin, Tenn.; a brother, Dale (Ruth) Schaadt of Van Wert; three sisters, Pauline McGarvey and Fern (Harold) Miller, both of Van Wert, and Lola Woods of Convoy; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Three brothers, Romy, Norman and Ervin Lee Schaadt, also preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, November 14, 2011, at Cowan & Son Funeral Home in Van Wert, with Pastor David Ray officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery in Van Wert.

Calling hours are from 2-5 p.m. Sunday, November 13, and an hour prior to services Monday at the funeral home.
