Harvest Holiday Home Tour this weekend

Join the Peony Festival Committee as it enjoys the beauty of the holidays. Great decorating ideas for Thanksgiving and Christmas are featured in five lovely homes on Washington Street in Van Wert as part of the Harvest Holiday Home Tour.

Tickets will be sold at each house and, for $10, those who take the tour can step back in time to the Victorian era at 642 S. Washington, relive the warmth of grandma’s house at 669 S. Washington, and imagine welcoming friends into a cozy Craftsman home at 609 S. Washington.

Those participating in the tour can then refresh themselves with a cup of hot chocolate or cider at the “Peony Café” before heading to North Washington, where a charming home waits for a new owner at 523 N. Washington and then discover a secret at 625 N. Washington.

The fun begins at 3 p.m. this Saturday, November 19, and lasts until 7 that evening. Come enjoy the fresh ideas and charm of these five beautiful homes and enjoy a stroll in the autumn air.
