Van Wert independent/NPAC information

Award winning Country music stars and adult contemporary cross-over Restless Heart is now back on tour and will be at the Niswonger Performing Arts Center of Northwest Ohio just in time for a special Valentine date on February 11, 2012.

Restless Heart was one of RCA’s greatest band success stories of the late ‘80s and early ‘90s, turning out a series of gold-selling albums, garnering a host of award nominations, and crossing over to the adult contemporary charts before dissolving in 1996. Their hits include “I’ll Still Be Loving You,” “Tender Lie,” “Why Does It Have To Be (Wrong or Right),” “When She Cries,” “Bluest Eyes in Texas,” and “Dancy’s Dream.”

Restless Heart

During its 10-year history, Restless Heart scored three gold-selling albums that produced seven No. 1 singles in a row; the group received a dozen Grammy, CMA, and ACM nominations and was named ACM’s “Vocal Group of the Year” in 1990.

The group has reunited and is currently touring with all the original members. Restless Heart will bring its string of successes to the NPAC for one fabulous evening of music on February 11, starting at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are on sale now for $16-$31 at the NPAC box office, located at 10700 Ohio 118 in Van Wert, or by calling 419.238.NPAC (6722) from noon to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday. Tickets are also available online at www.npacvw.org.

Make it a romantic evening for that special Valentine and enjoy a buffet of prime rib and chicken in the Grand Lobby of the Niswonger prior to the evening’s concert. Catered by Willow Bend Country Club, the dinner has limited seating and tickets are $25 per plate.
