VW wrestlers compete at Oak Harbor

OAK HARBOR – Van Wert High School wrestlers competed in a 10-team tournament at Oak Harbor, with several of the wrestlers placing in the event.

Placing first in the 285-pound weight class was Terrin Contreras, who finished with a tournament record of 4-0, with three pins. Zack Burk was third in the 132-pound weight class with a record of 4-1, with two pins, while Tyler Turnwald was fourth in the tourney in the 1892-pound weight class.
