Lois I. Baker
Lois I. “Peg” Baker, 89, of Convoy, died at 2:15 a.m. Tuesday, December 6, 2011, at Vancrest Health Care Center-Convoy Care Center in Convoy.
She was born September 11, 1922, in Tully Township, Van Wert County, the daughter of the late Joshua B. and Lola (Fulton) Feasby. She first married Gerald M. Myers, who died in 1971. On March 12, 1974, she married Francis D. Baker, who preceded her in death on March 7, 2004.
Survivors include two sons, Tommy (Diane) Myers of Convoy and Gerald Gene (Patsy) Myers of Lexington, Ky.; two daughters, Bonita (Ollen) Jones and Judy Motycka, both of Convoy; two stepchildren, William D. (Veena) Baker or Fremont, Calif., and Betty J. (Albert) Taylor of rural Van Wert; a brother, Bobby Feasby of Fort Wayne, Ind.; 21 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; and 25 great-great-grandchildren.
A brother, Billy Feasby; and one sister, Mary Geis, also preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Friday, December 9, at Cowan & Son Funeral Home in Van Wert, with Pastor Steven G. Waterman officiating. Burial will be in IOOF Cemetery in Convoy.
Calling hours are from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday, December 8, at the funeral home.
