VW Area Boychoir to perform Dec. 18

The Van Wert Area Boychoir will present its annual Christmas concert on Sunday, December 18. The concert will be held at Trinity United Methodist Church, 220 S. Walnut St. in Van Wert, beginning at 2 p.m. Admission is free and open to the public.

The goal of the Van Wert Area Boychoir is to provide an opportunity for boys of all backgrounds and abilities to participate in a quality musical, cultural and educational experience. The Boychoir rehearses weekly throughout the school year. Created in 2004, the group is open to all boys in grades 3-6.

The choir is under direction of Brian J. Anders, who is in his seventh year as artistic director of the group. Melissa Clay is the accompanist while Larry Taylor is the arranger and technical director and Lindsey Newlove is the rehearsal assistant.
