VW wrestlers lose to Wapak Redskins

The Van Wert varsity wrestling team won six weight classes in its match against Wapakoneta, but still lost 46-34 to the Redskins on Tuesday.

Winning their weight classes were Ritchie Espinoza, at 113 pounds, by void; Zack Burk, at 126 pounds, by a pin; Daniel Thompson, at 145 pounds, by a pin; Colten Royer, at 152 pounds, by a decision; Jordan Daniels, at 160 pounds, by a pin; and Terrin Contreras, at 285 pounds by a void.
