Martha Rice

Martha Rice, 89, of Delphos, died at 12:40 p.m. Tuesday, December 6, 2011, at The Meadows of Kalida.

She was born January 4, 1922, in Delphos. On August 5, 1939, she married Harrison Rice, who preceded her in death.

Survivors include a son, Ron Rice of Delphos; two daughters, Sharon Swan of Oakhill and Donna Woods of Lebanon, Mo.; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

A son-in-law, Charles “Doc” Swan; all brothers and sisters; and two grandsons also preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be conducted at noon Friday, December 9, at the First Assembly of God Church in Delphos, with the Rev. Dan Eaton officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in Lima.

Calling hours are from 11 a.m. until the time of services Friday at the church.
